More About Me!

(1) Why did you become an ND?

I’ve known that I wanted to work in healthcare from a young age. I grew up surrounded by family that understood the value and importance of health, and healthy living, and I was lucky enough to be exposed to naturopathic medicine early on. My initial spark for pursuing naturopathic medicine as a career stemmed from my first-hand experience of the impact that diet, lifestyle and targeted supplements can have on overall health. I’m so incredibly lucky to be able to support others on their health journeys and to provide them with the individualized, natural care needed to achieve their goals!

 

(2) How do you stay healthy?

Sleep is a non-negotiable in my house. It’s one part of my routine that I make sure to keep consistent – along with my morning coffee! Sleep keeps me sharp, gives me energy, helps me manage stress and most importantly, keeps my immune system healthy. I maximize my sleep (and my eggs!) by adding melatonin to my nighttime routine.

 

(3) What is your philosophy in practice?

I believe that our health is the foundation of our lives. We all experience our own health challenges, at varying times throughout our lives. It’s my goal to support people through these challenges by implementing sustainable lifestyle changes that foster balance between health and living. This philosophy is fueled by my belief that when we feel better, we do better.

 

(4) Tell us something only your closest friends would know....

I’m addicted to coffee, and proud of it! I believe in balance and I will forever justify my love for coffee by telling you all the benefits it has. I love learning about new coffee shops in Bloor West Village and beyond. If you ever see me at Coffee Tree with a mug of java, drop by and say hello!
